Abstract

Development of the palm oil industry is growing rapidly in Dumai. In both the processing of raw materials to supply all the results can not be separated from the mains. Importance of electricity in the process, becomes a trigger for us to seek alternative sources of electrical energy and more efficient. In the palm oil company was taken two fuel use in generating electricity is coal and shell + fiber. In determining the choice of fuel which is more efficient in generating electricity would require steps to obtain results that can reduce spending. To streamline the coal fuel and shell + fiber, use the cost analysis and hypothesis testing in order to get a cost which is more efficient and hypotheses which will be accepted and then analyzed by using the formula Break Event Point
