Abstract

Kriptografi menggunakan berbagai macam teknik dalam upaya untuk mengamankan data. Untuk melindungi data tersebut , dilakukan proses penyandian (enkripsi dan dekripsi) terhadap source code. Secara garis besar enkripsi yaitu mengubah file asli yang di sebut plaintext mejadi file rahasia yang disebut ciphertext. Source code PHP sangat rentan dicopy dan dimanipulasi, sehingga merugikan bagi pihak – pihak tertentu. Berdasarkan dari permasalahan tersebut, penulis akan membuat aplikasi untuk melindungi source code PHP menggunakan metode obfuscation dan algoritma base64 untuk studi kasus di STT Dumai. Base64 dapat mengacak source code PHP sehingga source code PHP tidak bisa di manipulasi dan di copy dengan mudah oleh orang yang tidak berwenang. Aplikasi ini dapat melindungi source code PHP dengan menerapkan algoritma base64 dan metode obfuscation. Dengan adanya metode obfuscation, data yang sudah di enkripsi dapat berjalan dengan normal. Hanya saja aplikasi ini belum di lengkapi dengan fitur save as dan hanya bisa digunakan untuk source code PHP saja.
